I did with me tt blue ceramic sub and my ss ceramic sub, no problems.
I would get it pressure tested first and take it in for a complete cleaning after you are in the salt everytime ;-)

The Sub should be fine as long as the gaskets are intact and compliant.

Now as it’s your first dive, there are lots of things on the boat (and that’ll be on you) to bang it on.

Those are called “character marks”.

I have been diving with my C blusey. Is awesome! There is an old closed thread buried in TRF about a tt blusey that was lost in the sea for over a year. It was found with a barnacle growing on it and still worked! Awesome thread to check out!

i did it a few times in my GMT (not TT)

for me i think TT in the water is shark bait. Fishing lures are less reflective. The TT sea dweller, terrifying

I dived in a TT DJ and had no problems. Rolex was made for such things.

I have always figured metal shining will attract unwanted friends like Cudas regardless of fool, TT, or SS. Regardless, has never stopped me.

ive thought about it with PCL on a GMT as well. I suppose brushed is less reflective on a SS sub.

Its probably not a real issue, but you never know

Excellent article about a 16613 and it's submarine escapades. If, despite the barnacles, it can hang, well then. . .

Too funny! But a true and possibly serious question.

You can and would have no issues except for the possibility of scratching the watch. I would go get a nice Seiko Diver and use it. Just because you can does not mean you should.
