"Snuckier?" Is this a word that is specific to the KIWI language; or is it only used by BKLs when they want to communicate with each other?

What do you mean "red, also called pink gold trim"?
Red Gold and Pink Gold are different. Each uses different alloys in the mixture. The proper name for "pink" is rose. You have yellow gold, white gold, rose gold, red gold, and even green gold. If you ever have a piece of custom jewellery made and you want 18k yellow gold but have to go with 14k due to durability issues, ask for 14k green gold. It looks very similar to 18k yellow gold. |

So what's the difference between Red gold and Rose gold?

I believe I saw some advertisement on the web that used 'red or rose or pink' gold in a sentence which (evidentally incorrectly) lead the reader to believe ALL 3 were equivalent.....
Allan makes a good point.. articles relating to "Alloy Mixture" in gold would be very interesting. Last edited by jhnnyjr100; 9 September 2006 at 10:10 AM.. |
