Selling Question

I am not a flipper; just lover of watches and have purchased good share over the years. If I would like to sell, is the classified here good route for someone with no experience in selling online like myself? Is Chrono24 a better option? What will be the best option that is reliable and safe and will not rip me off? For example, I am not comfortable to mail a watch for a seller to investigate. I would very much appreciate the insights of the experts. Happy Thanksgiving to all :)

Yes the classifieds here is good for someone with experience selling online.

The safest bet for someone who does not have experience is to email 2-3 dealers and take the highest offer.

You will need to weed through tire kickers, prove you’re trustworthy, price lower than trusted individuals with a good reputation, and be patient in order to sell yourself here. You’ll also need to be a pledge member.

With no feedback, your best bet is Chrono because the buyer has protection. The problem there is you will get your face ripped off with seller fees. So.... Take the previous advice and find some dealers. :/

Contact the Trusted Sellers here and get your best offers and pick. With no history you will have to mail the watches to them for inspection but once everything is OK you will be paid immediately. Selling is a minefield and between the fees and getting ripped off buy unscrupulous buyers you are better served to go somewhere you can trust. Good luck.
