Free Antique Clock Giveaway!
Well folks, it’s that time again, something I do every…. Whenever I feel like it. I want to pick up a(nother) antique clock, restore it and display. To do that, I need to make some room, so… HERE IT IS! YOUR chance to own this fine Antique clock for free! Here are the rules:
Any questions? If you are interested, just post in this thread some… post. This Wednesday evening, at 6:48:23 PM Pacific Daylight standard time (or, around then whenever I feel like doing it) I will run a random number generator and if your post hits the right number, Congratulations! This is a Telechron model 7H1 and the serial number puts it to 1947 manufacture. The engraved plaque reads: “To J.E. buzzard in appreciation of a cordial relationship since 1933. J.J. Schumman SR. President, General Motors Acceptance Corporation - 1948” I restored it about four years ago, and it is in perfect running order. If you have an interest in cars, or antique clocks or a special place for this, by all means post in this thread. ONLY ONE REQUEST - Please no international entries, unless you would like to pay the postage. OK, that’s it… All terms subject to … uh…. Copywrite… and… Yeah, whatever. Good luck!!!! |

Wow! That's really cool. I especially like the commemorative plaque on it. I wonder who this guy was?

This is cool. I will enter and would happily take one of these solely because I know how passionate you are about them. I would proudly display in my bar, which by the way has an adjacent guest room with lots of closet space for Tumi luggage and a bed big enough for Anna. Brown-nosing aside, whoever gets this should indeed post pictures and hopefully it will be a conversation piece that means something to them

Is it too much to include the watch in pic#2?
Kidding aside, that’s very generous of you to share your passion to your fellow Rolex friends. Thanks for the opportunity to own the clock. |

Cool clock and nice gesture Paul. I see a big power coord on it, curious if it makes any noise when powered up?

What if your random number generator picks 37?
I'm not here to win anything but instead to say this is a very cool gesture, Paul. |
