Fellow 16710 owners - noticed something unusual

Hi all -

Hope you’re doing well and staying safe during these times.

Perhaps a dumb question and unusual observation here, but I was looking at my watch today under the sun and noticed a bronze/copper colored ring or washer between the hand stack.

See pics for reference. Is this normal? I looked at some high def photos of 16710s online and, understandably, not many people are photographing these minute details.

The second photo might show the color contrast more clearly.

Looking forward to your input!

It’s the wheel that the hand sits on.

Some of us will take pictures of anything.

Did you also notice that the hour hand is curved?
