If the price reflects the lack of paperwork/ box and you plan to keep the watch a very long time, go for it. If you think you will flip you will suffer in price to sell. But I just saw a 5711 from 2012 with just archive papers sell for a big number so they are so hot that papers may not be as big a deal as they typically would be on a newer Patek.

It does not make sense for an AD to sell such a watch without papers.
At the very least an AD should be able to offer an archive extract.
I doubt Patek would condone this from an AD...
Ask why they didnt go through this "trouble" and verify with Patek why/how this is possible coming from an AD.

With such an amount to churn out, you need to request for a complete set wth boxes and paper.
