Anyone use cleaning wipes?
Question for the group: has anyone ever used these lens/glass cleaning wipes on their watch? Any opinions one way or another? Thanks!

I use them on my Sub and haven’t seen any issues with it Maybe someone with more knowledge can chime in as I’m curious too.

Walmart sells them cheap, they works great. Generally use them for glasses and lenses, yet for photoshoots they're great for ensuring the surface is clean and polished.

Not sure why special cleaning products are needed to clean a watch. If the crystal is dirty breath on it and clean it off with your shirt or a kleenex.
If a watch gets nasty use a tooth brush and soapy water. Obviously there are hundreds of things you can use but why spend money on frivolous stuff and pollute the planet with more unnecessary garbage. You start buying stuff like this and babying your watches pretty soon you'll start buying nick-nacks and have a house full of cats. |

Used lens wipes on my AP RO 15400 once. Never use it on that watch. Once the wipe starts to dry just a little bit, it’ll leave a bunch of hairline scratches on the bracelet.
Used them on my Omega SMP no problem though. |

I use vareat often but these are great to have around while on the go. Got these from Costco 225 lens wipes for around 20 bucks. They work great!

I use them on my glasses each morning, afterwards, there is still some solution left on the wipes, I just wipe over the face of whichever watch I am wearing.

Fairly new to glasses and have not tried lens wipes on watches. Imagine they would work find. Usually just a soap, toothbrush and water guy for my watches. I did receive a complimentary bottle of Veraet wristclean that is so popular here on TRF at the Vegas GTG and it does work well. Their little microfiber towels are awesome!
