Looking for a PAM, confused and need help =)
Hey guys - I've decided I really want to try to incorp a PAM into my rotation.
I don't care if it's manual or auto - as long as its thin (I sold my 312 because of its ridiculous height). I like the thickness of the 233 but would love either the same or thicker max diameter is 44mm If it is manual though, i don't want a date or any complications (i dont want to reset everything every time it stops, rather just set the time). Price point, I would buy used and hopefully under 7k. Brushed finish would be great but not the be all end all. If it matters, I love the look of the 233 and the boutique pig dial editions Anything you guys can think of that fits my picky needs? |

Does it have to be a luminor? On the thickness issue, rads will fit more sleek and slightly thinner and thus, sitting flatter on the wrist. Otherwise, I am a big fan of 233... sold mine but never forgot about her!

I used to have the 312 as well and basically sold it for the same reason. I just picked up the 183 Radiomir and even though it's 45mm, it wears smaller because of how it tapers and it's only 13mm thick not to mention it only weighs 102 grams.

take a look at a 210 really clean dial, manual, no date, thin, sandwich dial etc. 210 is 45mm very good size and in side by side with the 47mm i preferred the balance on the dial with the size of the numbers. ps it is a base model and avoids the premiums of a LE while giving up nothing imho.

If it were auto for sure but I don't want to reset everything when it stops
I think I'm down to the 390 or 000 - are those thin? Thoughts on the 390 guys. I like gold hands I think! |

There were two comments on the 312 which was very high. Others wonder about some thin models. Now I ask what are the best PAM (except the Radiomirs) suited to a normal wrist and malleable to fit neatly to hand. You can not go to the store to try on and left and marked the new bracelets..

233 is a beautiful watch but doesn't fit your under 7k criteria. Preowned ones still run around 8.5 to 9k. Personally that would be my choice if price was no issue. I love my 390, though still going back and forth on the assolutamente strap. 372 looks awesome in pics but doesn't fit me at all.

Here it is next to a black dial to try and show the unusual color.

Between 390 and 000, i will chose 390, especially it seems price are settling, and I love gold hands too. But if you can take a 47mm, go for 372, can't go wrong with that one as well.
P.S. What happened to the 5711? |

As for the OP's choice, 233 is the obv choice but not for your budget, IMO stretch the budget and find one for a good deal ! The 351 is an awesome piece, it has the 1950 case like 312 but sat much more comfy than my 359 did (so in your case the 312) , it's titanium has a tobacco dial and gold hands as well |
