I thought the same thing. 2 watches at work.

I have encountered people wearing more than one watch at a time, but not as large as these.

They are beautiful watches (I agree with others about the bands too). So visually different from the Rolexes they replace.

Enjoy!

Thank you for al the great comments. I always tend to have remorse when I part with watches, but I am very happy with how things turned out. I agree that the Sub C and GMT I will always be able to pick-up again and I am sure that the GMT will be back in the near future, but for now I have no plans on adding anything new to my collection.

Honestly, I have found myself wearing a few pieces more regularly these days and tend to gravitate to my "favorites", so who knows, maybe the collection will get even thinner one day soon.

By the way, is it odd having two watches at work? I have two watches at work at times because I have watches, straps, etc delivered to work and so I have two watches at work sometimes. I also keep an extra white shirt, tie and a set of casual clothes at work for emergencies. That includes last minute sporting events, etc Off comes my watch I am wearing with a suit and on goes a more casual option i am not so worried about.

190 + 233. Wow. You certainly upgraded.

I suspect that once you see how well that 190 keeps time, it will be difficult to leave it at home...

It was tough

really tough. I loved the watch and it treated me well for so long, but honestly, I felt very comfortable that I would be able to get one again without an issue. I could probably get a 233 fairly easy as well so it was not really about exclusivity. I owned the the 233 in the past and I really loved it and I got rid of it and held on to the GMT. Over the past two years I regretted that decision. I held on to the GMT because it was a "Pepsi" and in the end, just because it was a Pepsi did not matter to me all that much, history and all aside.

I just decided I liked the 233 more and if I wanted one GMT, it was the 233.

Both great watches.
