Pam 369 - Need your opinions, pls.

I saw a bnib 369 but not much info on this model. I like it and the size is just right (42mm). Can anyone tell me anything about this, for example, what type of movt is used, i.e., in-house or valjoux? Is this a newer model Radiomir? I have a Pam 88 and other brands in my collection. I still have to own a Rad bur prefer only 42mm and GMT. Thanks! /JD

I thought the OP was talking about the 392 (essentially a 42 mm PAM 312)

The 369 is a chronograph Radiomir (I don't think it's an in-house movement) - pic plundered from Google...

Let's see... it's a contemporary which was released in 2011 and still in production, uses the OP XII calibre (Valjoux 7753 w/48hr power reserve) - this movement has been used in many of OP's chronog. editions, incl. Daylight models, Slytech subs, etc. 2012 price is €5.7K.

Don't know much about this one, but it looks nice, dial is not too busy for a chrono, and 42mm is a good size.

2 points in your post caught my attention.

Recently I tried to verify the dimension of a discontinued limited edition watch and 2 knowledgable sites listed 2 different figures for width without crown. Being discontinued the manufacturer did not post information. If the 369 is current you should be able to verify via Panerai. Otherwise you will have to find one to try on.

I bought a watch last week without a date function. I did not intend to wear it. But I liked it so much I wore it every day. 3 times I turned to it for the date and was confounded. It's a convenience one must sacrifice in favor of the watch's other attributes.

This is confusing... the Panerai website shows the 369 as being either 42 mm or 45 mm, depending where you look...

fwiw, my printed 2011 catalog has it at 42... note that the 288 (also a Radiomir chronog.) is 45.

EDIT - It's just a typo in their specs, on the "front page", it says 42. It's 42!

Thanks for the verification - I agree it is a 42mm and it's now on my list to acquire this year. I have to get the Speedy 9300 first.
