GMT IIc broke, AD or RUSA

My just shy of a year old SS GMT IIc is broken, the hour hand does not advance at all with the minute hand. Should I just take it to my AD or should I send it to Rolex in New York?

I would contact RSC Dallas (much better to deal with than NY) speak to the service manager and make arangements to have it serviced.

Since it's likely your AD will send it to the RSC it's up to you.

I am sure your AD would be more than glad to provide this service. You may even get it back a lot sooner than shipping it out...

i would say whatever is easiest for you - as the AD will send it to RSC to get fixed anyway.

sorry to hear about your watch

Has anyone here had any experience with Springer Jewlers in Portsmouth, NH, as far as service goes. Do they have an in-house tech?

RSC, Dallas or BH, leave your AD out of it.

It's a two year warranty on Rolex..

Round up your warranty certificate/card and take it in to a reliable AD if there is not an RSC handy.

Most AD's are not going to do any warranty work and will send it in for you...

Why bother with them, its under warranty and it will void the warranty if someone other than a RSC or authorized service center works on it?

I would take it to AD and they will take care of all the shipping and insurance.
