Real or Fake Jubilee band
Hi All, I recently purchased a 16233 no holes watch but it didn’t come with the original jubilee bracelet, only a leather strap. Have been watching eBay auctions to grab one for a good price. Along came a 100% rated eBay seller with thousands of transactions that claimed they had an “Original Rolex 20mm Jubilee Bracelet”
I bid on this and won it for $500 which I found a little unbelievable but I did bid at 4am so thought I got lucky during off-timing. I have since come to realize that this bracelet is likely counterfeit but wanted a second opinion on here. I’m starting to wonder if this band is just a collection of original + aftermarket parts: 1) the clasp seems it may be real but doesn’t match up with the two tone band (65210H) 2) the jubilee links do seem to be real gold, many are deformed and one has a deep scratch but I don’t see any steel or other metal under the deep scratch 3) the end links have NO STAMPS at all Imgur photos of the band: https:// imgur. com/a/VmISo2J There 2 spaces in the link above as I am a new user and “can’t post links” If determined this is fake, I also see a brand on eBay currently that shows 62523H-18 and clasp code is S11. I haven’t seen any other bands that have had a dash or hyphen, seems it should be a “.” Between H and 18. Is it possible this one is real? This seller also has very good ratings across many reviews and claims authenticity is guaranteed. |
