For most users it's basically an OP with a different dial, hands and crystal. If you like that combo, go for it.

I wouldn’t say “extremely”, but yes the whole milgauss reference range is underrated, as is the airking. Both references will undoubtedly be future stars once they’re discontinued. Low volumes sold, the recipe for future collectibles

Not underrated.

Simply not over hyped.

Hence less popular than its siblings.

It doesn’t have to be popular, over rated, hyped. The people who appreciate this watch for what it is. That’s all that matters.
Well said Nick

Owned it. Sold it. For me it photographs much better than it actually ever looked on my wrist. Blue dial obscured by the coke bottle green crystal. I also tired of the orange lightning hand. I passed it on so someone else could enjoy.

Under rated maybe but it is def not under the radar. That Z-Blue dial really scream for attention in the wild.

Extremely under-rated dial? - Z-Blue

Personally I think this may be the the worst looking Rolex today.
The dial color to me is ugly and there’s too much clashing of colors between the dial, the crystal and the seconds hand.
I can’t stand to look at it even in photos. And, I’m a milgauss fan, I have two. This one just doesn’t work for me at all.

My opinion only, if you love it, that’s great, your not the only one and I am probably in the minority.

I think that's the best part of the Milgauss. Besides the green sapphire

This watch is an amazing summer watch. Whenever I see it in the wild I think it looks great. The green bezel + blue dial play with the colors so that in diff lighting, there are so many diff shades that can result.

I don't feel that it is underappreciated though. Sold out everywhere. Most of the collection is over-appreciated.

As mentioned above, not sure how long its not-overrated status will last.

Just got this in my inbox today:
