His words were “just wait until you see what’s coming, you’ll love it!” Really have no clue what it could be.

Does anyone know the actual date they’re being announced yet?
I heard mid-Feb for new releases. Michael Friedman hinted at something coming when he was doing an RD3 interview last summer. The question is - what could knock the 15407 off the top spot? It’s top of my list as well.

I actually think it’s time for the 15407 to have an update personally

I think we will see that RD3 tourbillon become the base of many new complicated pieces

Agree on the 15407, I loved it when I got it but seeing them use that movement in like 20 references has kind of killed it for me.

Hopefully we get something new that tops it

Yeah. Most of the wrist wouldn't be buying the concept anyway but those who can, 42mm case size will make pull the trigger.

But I'm just speculating. Ceramic offshore is another possibility as well.

Mid-February we will see..

Thank you for sharing this informative article. That is quite the longstanding history between these two brands…I didn’t realize they had this close a relationship.

I’ve been wondering the same thing. You could argue they should be cheaper than their RO counterparts however I don’t think we’ll see a £17-£18k code.
I imagine a time only will start around 20-21

For the 42mm ROO, 43mm ROO and steel RO to RG RO on a strap, the jump from steel to gold is about x1.5. So, my totally scientific prediction for the price of a steel CODE three-hander is $23k.

Hm, it's not supposed to seem fair, it's supposed to hurt, at least a little bit. So I guess I have to revise the prediction to $27.5k

Keeping in mind we still didn't see a price raise this 2023 maybe something in the middle, let's say 25.

I was hoping the steel code would be in the realm (from a price perspective) of the 56's from VC.

$12k for a steel 3-hander automatic? I'll fall off my chair in shock, if that happens. I think AP could rightfully argue that the case construction and surface finishing of the CODE is a big step up from the fairly standard 56.

I agree, I think the case of the code is in another league. Evacuated lugs, the octagonal midcase and curved sapphire.

I’m interested to see what they decide to release in the steel variants. A 3 hand model would be disappointing if that is the only release- would like to see something not currently used within the lineup previously

A dual time would be a godsend.

I also hope they use a regular flat crystal instead of the curved ones used in the current lineup.
