Thank you very much. I had posted a week or so ago about being invited to see it in person. That was the end of story for me. It is magnificent.

Saw this one in person in Geneva. That moon phase is absolutely amazing in the flesh. Rep told me something about it being a photo from a NASA satellite or something like that. Really cool in person, way better than photos do.

Didn't know that but I am not surprised. Under magnification must be even better! Have to find my loop.

It was a pleasure of mine to be invited to view this timepiece and after an application/allocation decision making process, got the “call.” I am humbled to have been given this opportunity by Audemars Piguet. I did elect to purchase a dark blue alligator strap to dress the timepiece up. Please enjoy this moment in time with me God bless have a great day.
Congratiolations on a wonderfull timepiece! Magnificent!

I personally think the CODE 11:59 QP is one of the most beautiful watches in the AP collection. Many congrats!

Big congrats! Can you elaborate on the application process? Did you just express interest and they noted this in your profile? Thanks

I don’t know if the right term is application or allocation but I had expressed interest in viewing the piece and when they received one I was invited when I saw it in person I knew I must have it so so I told the boutique Director that I wish to purchase to watch my understanding is that there were many different levels of review and ultimately the matter needed to get escalated to regional directors for approval. I don’t know what criteria they take it to account but being local and a repeat customer that has shown interest and dedication to the brand or all factors , they take it to consideration. The perpetual calendar pieces are limited in production. They are not numbered pieces, so Audemars Piguet is selective on who they allowed to purchase these watches.

From my experience it is not easy to get, but its not super hard if you are an existing customer from what I understand. Said another way it will unlikely to be your first watch from the boutique. The SA needs to speak up for you and explain how a QP will fit in your collecting journey.

I like how it’s really wearable and luckily it hasn’t gotten a ton of recognizable hype which makes safety less of an issue vs a RO or ROO.

I just put it back on the OEM band
