Any Musicians on TRF?

Let’s see your instrument(s) and watch.
I have to take it off to play this and the color scheme was unplanned but it matches perfectly:

If Oisin O’Malley comes on from Mr North / Timeless Watch Channel, I don’t think the forum will be able to cope with his amount of watches before crashing! check out their album Lifesize by the way - am playing it a lot recently.

Hmmm.... well, have been known to play the cowbell from time (signature) to time (signature).

1.jpg

.
.
.

If you want more cowbell, there's also this different-tone cowbell. It's a bit larger so slightly lower note / tone.

2.jpg
.
.
.

And if things get really interesting, there's these three cowbells, all nicely tuned to one another. Nothing better than more cowbell.

3.jpg

.
.
.

But for that deep rock sound like Def Leopard, you're gonna need a bigger cowbell.

4.jpg

.
.
.

...and then there are these six hand-tuned... which actually aren't cowbells technically (Gon Bops by Pete Engelhart), yet sound wonderful with Latin / other music.

5.jpg

.
.
.

Go ahead and say it....

More Cowbell :)

I went to M.I. for guitar and also drum, and my wife plays bass, so my house is full of instruments, but don’t have any cool watch/instrument pics. I did just pick up this late ‘70s Sonor kit:

Congrats, nice pick up! Fully admit my love for Sonor German beech wood drums. Their 3mm bell bronze snare drums are legendary!

I generally like anything but Rap music. Always wanted to learn piano or guitar, but never did.

I am miles away from being classified as a musician but have been playing these and other instruments for more than 50 years.

I still enjoy finding some music and playing for a few hours when my wife is out for the evening.

Since no one was ever paid me to play don’t think I’d ever call myself a musician, but I have been shredding the same 4 power cords since ‘74.

Right now I’m playing in a downtuned project, so I’m running a 8x15 mahogany Slingerland snare from the ‘60s that’s bonkers.

Not a great photo but that’s Scarlet JoJamsen behind me. She’s the last guitar I own and isn’t going anywhere.

I played for over 10 yrs until my disability made me unable. I was naturally able to play anything with strings and percussion.

I am still able to dabble a bit in the digital world but she’s basically all that’s left from a 6-10 piece guitar (somewhat rotating) collection, a piano, and TONS of world drums!!!

I had that gold top Les Paul from another members post at one time. She sang beautifully!!!

Guitar guy here. This is the only picture of one of my guitars and a watch.

Here's a better picture of the guitar in question.

A few of my other guitars.
