Icon4 Rolex # E32G6614

Found on hwy 88 on 3/18/23 Grey backpack a few items including a
Broken bottle of wine and yes a discovery rolex, would appear that it
was just lost NOT stolen, however if you weren't on hwy 88 and it was
truly stolen then the thief was not only a thief but an idiot as most are.
I sent you a friend request so contact me and we'll figure out how to
get it back to you.
Thank you...

It would be best to meet at a police station, which both of you can agree upon. Ask him to describe the contents of the bag, as well as any unique identifiers of the bag, watch, and other items

A 26 hour turn around time from OP's initial post from lost then found-- incredible if this is real! I sure hope it is! Massive kudos to the fitting username, member: 'finder of the lost'!

WOW!! finder of the lost? That is UNPRECEDENTED. Again, WOW!! NoraNVu I like wine too, but REALLY?? finder of the lost? Just driving on Highway 88 and found a backpack? I'm guessing rest stop, but know ZERO about highway 88 or highways in CA. Legitimately curious. WOW for the third time!

I hope your insurance company covers unattended items. They also get a bit funny about items stolen in cars that were not placed in the trunk.

That's insane someone found it, thief was probably was looking for large easily fenced items like laptops/cash and tossed it without really searching. Great luck on OPs part.

OP said there was a name card in the backpack(Chris Noe). Was that included in the found bag? Hope it's true, post pics of the bag after the reunion.

Do you have pictures?
Sorry to sound skeptical but this feels like a scam.

If you’re serious, setup a meeting with the OP’s son who’s Milpitas PD. Placerville is close enough to Milpitas to make the drive.

My first thought as well. A Daytona is going to be no place other than my wrist away from home.

I’m still trying to understand whether Teslas can be opened that easily…unless his was forcibly broken into, although didn’t think Tesla is common target for that.

It is now between two newly joined members and I hope the OP can update us with a successful and safe recovery post in the near future.

If all true, then good on the finder + the power of a google search.
