rolex daytona 116519ln (dial only)

Hi all, what are the chances of getting hold of a dial only? Anyone know who sells them? It needs to be authentic. Thanks

Just takes patience and constant looking. Also, being ready when you see one available

What do you mean by unsymmetrical lugs? I am a new owner of a steel 116500, I haven't heard this term before? Would be good to know more. Thanks

He probably meant Asymmetrical....

The lugs on the crown side and the 9 o'clock side are different shapes.

I have a preciuous metal daytona and the lugs look pretty symmetrical to me, does this only apply to the ceramic daytona?

Yep. Probably better balanced because of everything going on - on the crown side.

Steel and yellow gold Daytonas have the assymetrical lugs. Other PM Daytonas and all Oysterflex models do not.

It’s possible but it took a long time to find one. And this was a few years ago. I had bought one for my 116500. But later added a 116519 oysterflex so I have a dial sitting there. Didn’t know if I wanted to sell bc it took a long time to get and was $$.

There are about three at the moment on C24, all in the 5K $ range. Use the sort on date feature and you will find out these dials are sitting there already for a loooooong time ;) They never seem to never sell at these prices so a lowball offer could get you lucky with one of the sellers, worth a shot!

A few people with parts access have made quit an interesting business model , dials that can be ordered “quit simple” for a watchmaker or AD for amount X and are placed on Chrono24 for 5X…. Italy is very heavily represented so that makes you wonder getting parts there is easier then anywhere else??

Almost every few months you hear stories how more complicated it’s gonna get but funny enough all these dials remain available in large numbers in the C24 parts section.
