Avatar help

I did a forum search and didn't find anything. I clearly can't handle the complexities of setting up an avatar photo to my profile. I've tried a few image hosting sites that let me resize pictures to the 150x150 pixel limit but 2 things happen. The picture still exceeds the 19.5kb size limit and it looks worse than Atari graphics. I can't find a site that lets me change the size of the file as well and one that doesn't make it look just plain awful and blurry. Does anyone have a site, app, or tip they can share? I see so many profiles that such clear and vivid pictures as their avatars. Thanks in advance!

I take my photo, then email it to myself. I use outlook for my email server, and it asks what size you want to send. If you pick under 500KB, you should be golden.

Good luck, Happy New Year.

It does make me feel better I’m not the only one that couldn’t figure it out. Thanks for that.
