Tried both and fully agree. Hard to read time in full light.

Readability shall be primary function of the watch, shouldn't be?

I've owned both. The grey I kept 2, 3 months. Blue for repast 12. I have more than a dozen watches, including 3 Rolex. And the blue literally stayed in my wrist all week.

I'd love a 36 in blue but so far they've not made it so..

I really want to add the Grape to my blue faced 116622 YM.

OP is a nice piece.

Both look amazing.

If it was my money, I'd go with blue.

Well, I've made some progress since then and decided on the OP...but, just maybe, the Rhodium dial instead of the Blue dial. I keep going back and forth between the two, certain that I've finally made a decision, only to change my mind again. At this moment I'm leaning toward the Rhodium because I think it suits my style and demeanor better considering my age (66) and more conservative nature.

Any thoughts, especially from those that own either one? I plan on looking at them again tomorrow for the final time.

Meh age is nothing but a number. The blue dial is quite nice and the green adds a bit of playfulness to it. The rhodium does look great and i feel is able to present a bit dressier if the need or occasion calls for it.

The blue is a bit more of a unique piece, where the rhodium is closer in mind with what people align with the brand.. I vote blue in this case for that added spark.
