Hi all,

I wanted to share my newest acquisition with you, a white dial SS Sky-Dweller. I was fortunate enough to find it at an AD while on vacation in Russia.

On this trip I’ve experienced first hand the bundling of unwanted watches, and most stores having all the sought after pieces hidden back in the safe. I always read about it on here, but never thought I'd run across it.

I visited numerous locations, and the one I ultimately purchased from had large selection of SS DateJusts, numerous two tone models, and PM pieces. I spent some time reviewing the different variants of the DJ41 blue dial with roman numerals, but decided to pass as it was too similar to my current 126300.

The rep then asked me what I was really after. I decided to shoot my shot and mentioned a Sky-Dweller with a black dial. He replied saying they have a white and maybe a black dial, but he will check. While he disappeared off into the back I thought it's probably steel/YG and set my expectations accordingly. After about 10-15 mins I saw him emerge from the back with a white dial SS Sky-Dweller in the Rolex tray. I was honestly at a loss of words and couldn't believe it! He mentioned he can have the dial swapped to black for an additional fee. I proceeded with my due diligence and phoned my local Dallas RSC. They confirmed that it is possible as the other color dials belong to the same reference number.

After trying it on, I called a few friends and my two favorite ADs for their opinions. The consensus was I would most likely not get this opportunity again being a tourist, and they (favorite ADs) can barely get their hands on these for their oldest/most loyal clients. Not to mention, the sales rep said he could only offer this watch today as their VIP client hasn't come in to pick it up. I knew if I slept on it that it would most likely be gone tomorrow, or they would change their mind. (Learned my lesson on a previous watch purchase).

Needless to say, I decided to pull the trigger and I’m so happy that I did. The white dial has grown on me immensely. I realized I already have quite a few black/gray dial watches and needed some contrast. I've also find the white dial to look very classy.

I am on the list for SS Blue, wish me luck with that! I have been offered SS with black & white dials since I have been on the list and passed on both, dont regret with black but seeing yours has made me wish I had gone for the white, its beautiful. Enjoy in good health

I have tried on all three colours and my order of preference was white, then black and then blue.

This watch is definitely growing on me. I know the blue dial is all the rage, but I've seen the white dial in person and it's a great looking piece. Good job scoring that one.

Oh, and yes. If you had passed that Sky would be snapped up so fast. If I saw one locally, well, I'd be wearing it home. Again, super lucky.
