I didn't really buy it. AD said we have a watch you might like . I couldn't go there the same day so i put money down to hold it overnight and if i didn't pick it up i get the deposit refunded. I still haven't picked it up and he actually extended it till Monday. He said just don't flake on him .

You can't have the blue dial you really want only because you are unwilling to wait a couple months to get it? Hmmmm......

Believe very little a Rolex salesman tells you about lists, other buyers, and availability. Get the blue if you want it. And I'm not sure you need to pay MSRP for these watches.

I lurked around the forums and found out it's not as hard to come by but here in the bay area it seems impossible.

Anyways i got offered the 41 mm Wimbledon WG in the oyster bracelet. He said these are Hard to come by since most datejust2 now comes in a jubilee and you don't see too many oyster bracelets. So i jumped the gun and paid a deposit and i have 24 hours to pick it up. Can someone tell me about this watch to someone who has it or seen it in person ? I don't want to have buyers remorse
Love the color of the dial, such a beatitul DJ, but you need to try it on and see if you like it
My personal preferece would be blue index dial fluted bezel with jubilee, but works well on the oyster too

The times when display cases were full of DJ's are over... at least for now until the market changes again. I've had a deposit on a DJ41, Blue stick, Fluted Jubilee (a very popular combo) for just over 2 months now. The AD called me today and said they got one, but on Oyster. I passed. I learned the hard way that when I settle and buy the watch that is available instead of the watch I want, I regret it and never bond with the watch. So I told her I'll pass and wait for the Jubilee. I'm sure that watch is already sold to another, or won't last more than a day or two in the case. The wait continues, at least I keep saving money. lol.

6-8 weeks is nothing...order one and get what you really want instead of settling

For the guys with the blue stick dial datejust 41mm....were u able to get any sort of discount on pricing? I went to my AD and they stated that they offered no discounts on rolex watches.
Ended up ordering a 41mm blue dial white gold bezel with jubilee at full price...

My god the watch is amazing. It's crazy how it looks so different in pictures and videos. It almost looks like a whole different watch in person. I had to buy it. Someone in the store asked if they can buy it if i didn't want it but there was no way.

Super clean watch! How come not all of the Roman numeral dials have that 9 o'clock Baton stick ? I noticed on the other roman numeral dials there is no lumens.

No, I couldn't wait. Sorry . I've waited long enough saving and searching. It's time for the reward .

As you can see from my signature, I have most of the hot watches members want, however, I love this piece and cannot understand why people complain that they can’t buy a SS Rolex when these pieces are sitting in AD displays. As a tide over piece or, to start a relationship with your AD, these DJs in black or white with smooth bezel look pretty professional to me and, I have most of the professionals...

The proportions of the DJ2 and the DJ41 are quite different.

Indeed, I originally was trying to source a DJ2 but bought a DJ41. The 41 feels very well balanced.
