I would personally rather get the questions than a simple "congratulations!".

We're all here to talk about watches and the journey, right? So what if someone wants to know how long it took to get it, that information helps a lot of people on an aggregate and let's you know you made a great decision from a market standpoint.

I do however agree he should have said congratulations at some point, though. It seemed a little disingenuous.
