Accuracy report: DJ41

I have just concluded a 28 day accuracy test of my new Datejust 41. During this four week trial, I wore the watch continuously (24/7) during weeks 1 and 3 and kept it on an Orbita winder during weeks 2 and 4. After those four weeks, my watch was a total of 14 seconds fast, thereby gaining approximately 3-1/2 seconds per week or an average of 1/2 second per day.

To me, that is a damn impressive result. I have only one other watch in my collection that demonstrates such long-term accuracy -- a Panerai PAM165.

I have estimated, by comparison to various clocks that change the minute accurately, that mine (new DJ41) has gained 10-12 seconds in about 3-4 weeks. So very similar, I'd guess it runs about 1/3 second fast each day. Which is absolutely amazing.

I wore it every day for about 18 hours each during that time, no winding at all.

Nice Steven.
It's even more amazing that watches with more complications like your SkyD are still very consistent/accurate.

That's awesome, thanks for sharing! I've had my Milgauss for about 5 months now, and while it fluctuates a second or two in either direction day-to-day depending on my wearing habits, it has stayed within the same 5 second range since I purchased it. Don't know what kind of sorcery Rolex employs to make these watches, but I like it.

Wow, that's excellent. I got an Explorer II 216570 in July. It gains 1/2 to 1 second a day. I haven't taken it off except to shower since I got it. I do set it to the atomic clock when it exceeds +5 seconds however. I have done that with all of my watches with hacking capability and digital watches from the start.
