Please post your DD40 green dial shots!

Would love to see more of these from the forum! I'm STILL debating between RG and YG, but gosh that green dial on the RG DD40 is killing me.

DD40 in RG with Olive dial is my favorite configuration for that watch. I think that would make for an excellent pick

Tried it on back when I was cross shopping with a Daytona and ended up with a Daytona. However I love it and still would love to have one (hence my first post)

Get the RG! I was close to getting one and still might in the future. It's far less common, is classier (IMO, at least), and carries less of the DD "F--- you, I do what I want" stigma.

I used to have one. Flipped it for a YG piece.

Its nice dont get me wrong, I already had a Choco so felt the having two RG pieces was redundant.

Honestly after owning multiple DD40s now (4 total and different configurations and I still own 2 of them) - if its your first one it NEEDS to be YG. RG should be your second piece.

BTW you've been deciding for a long time now right? Just get it man life is too short. If its not going to strain the family budget just do it.

And it's pictures like that that make me second-guess every decision I think I've made between YG and RG!

1 isn't a strain, but there's no way I could afford 2 right now, so that's out of the question. This will be done at the very least before my 35th birthday in November, if not sooner (shooting for the 1st week in October)

Hahahhaa

I know your predicament quite well. Your quite a young guy like me (i'm 33) and I felt like I rushed into my decisions with my Day Dates. Now if I was in the position of buying a first Day Date I think going with iconic piece (i.e) YG you will never go wrong. Its a time proven classic that will actually last you a lifetime.

RG? I'm not so sure its nice now but it might not be so nice in 20 years time or in fashion.

Either way any DD40 is a big purchase and you really cant go wrong with any of them. Just make sure you dont flip watches as fast as I do its gonna cost you. LOL

Having 3 DD40, (WG, YG, PT) metals now....they’re all stunning, and the green dial changes dramatically with light changes.
