Has anyone actually seen the SD43 MKii dial in person?

There has been many discussions and threads talking about he MKii dial on the SD43? I have seen a picture of one but I am starting to wonder if that was photoshopped. If you own one I’d love some pictures..

A member posted his incoming last week with a Mkll dial. Hypothetically speaking, even if it were a photoshop, it's only a matter of time(soon) that Rolex will actually implement this as all 32xx series watches will have it.
If this sort of thing gets one all worked up as a hardcore collector/future investor, than hurry up and buy one asap, then you only have about 30-40 years to see if it becomes the new DRSD.

I’m an owner of an MKII dial, they definitely exist. I received delivery in late July from my local AD.

This is interesting. I bought mine in early August of 2018 and mine is an MK1. Rolex must be we Sending out a mixed bag of both dials at the same time. It’s the luck of the draw who gets what.

Gee it's weird that people are doubting the MK2 dial exists and that there's some grand conspiracy or fake news out there!

I've seen a MK2 in person too. I'm sure some MK1s are still yet to be delivered as some sit in AD safes, or might still be with local Rolex distributors.

What’s the difference in the two dials?

The difference is whole lot of hype and speculation over future value.

Seriously though, the new dial has a coronet at 6 o'clock. That's it.

I haven't seen it in person though it's on my to do list, I'm guessing I'll see one when I start looking.

I think when you are on all the SD43 threads and no one posts images of a MKii dial that they themselves own it’s fair to ask if anyone has one or has even seen one in the flesh. I don’t think anyone was assuming it was some grand conspiracy.

I've seen both dials, side by side in a GD. The GD didn't actually realise the difference and was selling them both at the same price. We had a bit of a discussion and I told him about the addition in the Mk 2 and he jokingly suggested he might increase the price of the Mk 1 by £100 after I left.

Considering I’ve never seen an SD43 at an AD I’m not surprised

As mention above they are real, and we have members here who own and have posted pictures.

+1

the only real question is did they just think up this differentiator after they launched the SD43 as its a retroactive distinction for sure. As close to a mistake as you will probably see from Rolex as the intent does seem to be for 32XX movements

Personally i don't think its ever going to be a thing, but who knows weirder things have happened. Rolex hasn't updated the pic on the website so they don't seem too bothered by it.
