Everest utilises the easylink, rubber b doesn’t. That was the dealbreaker for me when I purchased one for my BLNR

Agreed. I bought a Rubber B but returned it before I cut it to fit...I stupidly ordered the one with the green "racing stripe" to match my GMT LN. Waited a bit then just bought the Everest last week and it's great. Still can't bond with the damned watch but the strap looks great...the new owner will love it haha!

Have tried both and prefer Everest. I have 7.25" wrists. I would prefer the Rubber B if I had smaller wrists due to the taper. Seems about 6.75 to 7.00 is where either work.

Can't use Rolex clasp on Everest strap and for me it's a deal breaker. Rubber B have wider options to choose from and can use Rolex clasp.

You can get tang buckle or use Rolex clasp on both Rubber B and Everest

I was looking on Everest website for my DSSD. It's only available with tang buckle. Rubber B have both.
+ Rubber B is more tapered, which is good for the watch like DSSD IMO.

Rubber B for me. I find it overall a superior product & design. The sub is not my picture but the 5711 & Daytona are. Good luck on your search.

Be careful with watch bloggers and reviews.... Do your homework and research. Bloggers are looking for freebies and $ so they will side with the highest bidder.

This great forum is not immune to it.

I've compared them side by side. For me I prefer the rubber B. I'm a fan of the overall design and how it works with my smaller wrist. They seem to have more options available as well.

My friend likes the Everest as he has larger wrists and the hole spacing is also closer. So you're able to fine tune the fit more precisely. They also seem to be a tad more supple.

I chose the rubber b for my subc and I’m very pleased. I went with this over the Everest as I liked how it matched up with the lugs better. There is more detail around the lug area (the horizontal lines) that for me, gave the watch a better look. The picture below is not the best example to describe what I’m describing, but all I had. I also found that the material/feel of the strap is more similar to oysterflex.

They're not. This picture is pretty clear. Made in USA? Made in Italy, Made in my backyard. If its made in a respectable place you should be proud to display it. They do so on their fine leather straps. A "Swiss manufacturer" is not the same as "Swiss Made" and Swiss rubber is probably the craziest thing I've ever heard of. I mean if you fall for it & you don't care where your product is made thats on you.

Hahaha so that is your proof, on why they aren't Swiss made??? Because they didn't label it?

I have personal worked with two watch companies who had straps made by BC (Bonetto Cinturini) in Italy and they both choose to not label it with that info.

And Swiss rubber is a thing, it is vulcanized rubber. The Swiss label unfortunately means nothing these days.

I have two RubberB’s and absolutely love them. I picked the RubberB’s over the Everest straps simply because I think that they look better. They have more of a sleek, tapered look.

Complete BS man! it means nothing when its not convenient or to Seiko & Casio thats about it. In the luxury watch world is everything. If you choose to drink the Kool aid good for you. Are you for real on "Swiss Rubber"?
Please elaborate on your knowledge of "Swiss Rubber" what part of Switzerland produces Vulcanized rubber? Vulcanized is a chemical process and has nothing to do with Switzerland. So BC is Italian rubber?

Your BC friend should be able to tell you that rubber for everything from tires, auto parts and including watch bands come mainly from Malaysia & East Asia. So yea tell me more about swiss rubber.... I could care less about either company but honesty does "mean something these days".
