who has a 5711/5712 and a AP diver?

Hi all,

I am really liking the AP ceramic diver, but am afraid the difference between my 5712 and it would be too huge in size and thickness for me to get used to it, as if I would get one I would have only my 5712 and a black ceramic 42mm diver.

If owners can tell how it's doing it for them I would appreciate, thanks

Hey Arnaud. I have a 15202 and a forged carbon diver. Huge difference in size obviously but that's part of the charm of having different watches. The diver is a weekend watch.

I wear a 5167 and SS Diver. These two pieces couldn't be more different, and for me that is what makes them so complimentary. As others have stated, there is a place for both - one fits perfectly under a dress shirt, and the other looks amazing with denim and other casual wear. One flies under the radar, and the other elicits comments from others - I get more comments on my SS Diver than any watch I have owned. For me, the drastic differences make it more fun to go back and forth.

Keep up your search! You will enjoy the diver, and have a great pair.

I have the same concern and I find it difficult to go back and forth from chunky 42mm to slim 40mm. However, I have seen plenty of collections with both and owners seem happy. Jorge has both 5712R and the ceramic diver and it works great for him. For myself, I have tried and it takes me days to adjust from one to another.
