The more I photograph it and look at it in the sun, the more I realize either your photography is not accurate or you have yourself a very rare, soon to be worth a whole lot, bezel.

More sun.

I’ve seen this watch many times in person. Yes, it is purple and pink in many lighting situations, transitioning to blue and red. Incidentally, I think it looks great just how it is!

You are right, you explained it better than I did.

Has anyone used a Spectrophotometer to identify the definitive colour description/PMS number?
A reading from the actual bezel, and not from, say, the Rolex catalogue would be good.

A friend describes his as; "marathon runner nipple pink".

Mailed my AD and she confirmed again she just got 2 new BLRO's and they differ in color from the 2 months+ older BLRO's. Still waiting for the pictures. Colors should be more like old pepsi. Real blue/red.

I think they vary depending on the lightening in the background. Pictures do not do it justice due to some camera effects. The red is red and the blue is blue. People will argue the colors are off but after owning one for 4 months, I can tell you that the colors are excellent and vibrant.

It is now fairly obvious that differences in the bezel color exist between earlier models and current darker more vivid colors. This is a new development.

I've seen it in the flesh, outdoor lighting, indoor lighting. I call it the Cranberry for a reason. Others may view the color spectrum different than me.

I just bought a 126710BLRO warranty card dated in August of 2018. It is clearly different than the original lighter bezel colors. Good call
