After 10 years of keeping the watch away now it looks brand new after you changed the bracelet, That's really nice. Date is a pretty cool watch

Beautiful shot of your gilt dial sub. I noticed that the 3 6 9 12 o clock hour markers are darker than the rest. Such unique watch and thanks for posting

Here's mine from 1970. Purchased new in Zürich right out of college for $125. Hasn't been worn or touched since it's 1980 overhaul. My wife gave me a GMT Pepsi 1675 as her wedding gift to me in 1976. I bought an Exp II two weeks ago in Norway. The GMT will now take a rest.

Love the sub. Can you give me an approximate value of the 5513 watch?
I know there’s 8-10 questions to ask. But just approximate value considering the watch is in average condition.
No stainless band.
Thank you for your opinions

Yours is a keeper. I see you have the original riveted bracelet. I traded mine in 1985 for a new fliplock with solid links. Not worth as much but I like it that way.

May I ask about your insert comment? My original bezel and insert got scratched so in 1976 while in Switzerland I bought replacements from Bucherer in Luzern for $25.

The font on your insert is nice and fat, or I guess ‘bold’ would be a better way of describing the thickness of the numbers and hash marks, a very desireable trait in the vintage world.

You have a great looking bezel insert on your 5513!

hard to see thru the well-worn acrylic but the dial is flawless. these were indeed very tough watches.

never liked the date models. this one we rescued from the dead many years ago and also sits around in a box at out home as the top hat style crystal of these acrylic date models isn't my cup of tea.

Dang can we come hang out at your place LOL??

Transitional 5513. Love it’s glossy look despite it is not as popular as the matte dial. You can find many matte dial 5513 and I actually don’t see many transitional white gold marker 5513 around.
