Cracked Crystal
I just noticed this crack on my 5500 Explorer crystal between the 1 and 2 o'clock markers.
It does not bother me cosmetically but should I be concerned about humidity getting in and damaging the dial?

I'd get it changed, inexpensive and the integrity of the watch could be compromised.

I would get it replaced not worth the risk. Know if you sent it rsc they will do a complete overhaul on your watch to make sure there was no internal damaged.

Cracked Crystal
For sure get it serviced, but definitely not rsc, as they will ask for replacement of more than the crystal. There are a few really qualified vintage independent WM in Texas.
I blame it on autoconnect. |
