Thought on the new GMT-Master II Coke Zero?

What do you all think about the new grey and black GMT? personally I find it rather dull and boring but would love to see close up videos.

I think it's more plain, like a GMT Soda/club soda with lime.

I like the Rolex green GMT hand and text, it's subtle like the fade to grey bezel - not one for the Johnny come lately hype boys though.

I think it's rather dull. Each to our own. Personal taste aside I welcome more variations. The more choice the better.

Does absolutely nothing for me and the green hand looks like an afterthought.

May look better in the flesh but honestly is this the best they can do?

For me it needs the YG otherwise too dull, but the grey is lively enough in good light to make it pretty interesting against the all black, and it can be fairly stealthy in low lights so will appeal to many who like cool under the radar GMTs, I know many guys who wanted this so it will do well.

Must admit I never liked the green hand much, not even on my lovely YG.

I think the hype culture has destroyed the taste of many watch collectors. There is more to Rolex watches than blingy and colorful bezels.

I personally like the stealthy look. I would have made the gmt hand grey / black to align with the muted look. Still a very classy piece which I will try to get my hands on.

Similar to the old LN minus the additional grey, more under the radar than the BLNR/BLRO. Would prefer the original models.

Underwhelming. And the green is an odd choice.

It’s not bad, but not great. I’d like it more if bottom half of bezel was red.

I think it’s great and overdue- fills the void of a monochrome GMT II since the fully black bezel was discontinued a few years ago. Not everyone likes colorful bezels.

It looks fine but not something I’m looking to get.

Happy to hear the BLRO isn’t discontinued. Likely means between the new one and BLRO that some hype will be redistributed. My guess is BLRO production will improve and this new piece will also take up some of the excess demand out there.

Nice piece, but not a fan of the black and grey colour combination. A return to all black would have been better.

Surely with the green on black this has to be called the lime cola…

bit underwhelming. Also I am not sure I agree that this is by any means a stealthy watch. May be a bit less blingy then coloured variations but by no means a under the radar watch (and more blingy than a sub).

I think that given the choice most ppl would take the BLNR over this new one. It’s just too monochrome and blue >> grey

Would love to have been in the room when they presented the idea. Possibly one of the largest practical jokes about to be perpetrated on you lot.

If this was released in 2015 it would sit in the display trading well under retail.

I actually like it, and that's not something I have EVER said about a GMT before. I despise the red blue bezels....tacky. If I had to have one then the new Black/grey (no stupid nicknames pls) would be the one. Its discreet and not in your face.

Nothing inherently wrong with it, but it’s definitely got that whiff of “parts bin special” about it for me. It feels like they found a load of spare 116710LN dials and GMT hands and decided to use them up.

I’d have liked it more if they’d at least used a different colour GMT hand (and text). Red would’ve looked nice, or even if they’d gone fully monochrome and gone with a white GMT hand. Anything to make it look more like it’s own thing.

Nice throwback to the discontinued version which I passed on for a sub in 2016. Perhaps this is my chance now.
