Which One ...

Looking to make a move on another piece and can’t decide which direction to go.

Have a couple of other Rolex and an AP Chrono but no PM’s. Can’t make up my mind

That’s part of the decision, I can get a pretty good deal on the AP but I’d need to send it in for a service if I want it looking crispy.

Just what I was thinking, the Rolex looks like a retirement gift.

As you have an AP chrono I'd go for the DD, but ideally a RG AP, RO or ROO.

I must say I find the choice/decission an odd one as these watches are so very different in all ways. On the face of it I suppose I'd opt for a precious metal watch, but not a DD. Even though I'm over 60 (just!) to me they look rather old fashioned.

Same thoughts here.
It´s hard to say not knowing your age and your collection.
So my vote for AP in that case.

Thanks for the input... the comparison is based upon my current options/price points and what I currently have in collection.

I have been leaning towards the DD because most of my other watches are sportier models.

Appreciate everyone’s opinion

DD40 in this case. Although the situation gets complicated if it's a 42mm ROO with a ceramic bezel.
