I have 3 Tags, 2 Omegas, and 1 Breitling, but this is my first Rolex. Got it a week ago and hasn't been off my wrist since. Great looking watch and it's the most comfortable watch I own. 1989 16710: absolutely amazing shape for a 24 year old watch!

16750 Pepsi

Here's my 1980 manufactured ref. 16750. Bought it at a PX in Germany in 1981. I wear it almost daily, gets about 90% of my wrist time.. In my rotation I also wear a 1969 vintage Omega Speedmaster Professional and a 1979 vintage Seiko 6306-7040 cushion case diver. It came with a pepsi bezel that I finally replaced in 2001. I also have an OEM black fat font bezel and I swap periodically. Seen me through all my combat deployments, none the worse for the wear, both of us!

Some totally amazing looking watches here! No doubt, Pepsi has to be one of the nicest watches that Rolex ever turned out!

I'm still awaiting delivery of my Pepsi bezel, so in the meantime, I thought I'd try yours on. It looks great!

I recently decided to pare down to one sport/casual piece, and chose a Pepsi GMT (also have a black insert) over my Speedmaster. This one is a 16750 no date with a very faint spider effect. Love the patina!

Got this F series today. Haven't taken it off since.:) I went to an AD back in 2008 to look at a sub and the AD tried to turn me on to one of these still in his case. I'm sure it was an M series with the 3186 movement. But I was too unsure of how the pepsi colors would wear. I kicked myself for years . . . until now.:)

My newest addition and one and only Rolex and I'm thrilled it's a GMT. I have it about two weeks and it feels like a keeper.

I have owned a few Tags, Omega's & Breitlings- all of them now sold/traded due to my continuing obsession to own Submariners, Datejusts, and of course GMT's... Nice watch you have there Glen....

This thread keeps reminding me to never sell/trade my vintage GMT...

Al

Nice JB Champion with horned end pieces. I have the same one but it is currently on my 1969 Speedmaster Professional. Never thought about putting it on my GMT-Master. Looks really cool.
