Rolex 116334 gasket/bezel troubleshooting

Hi everyone! I'd like to first introduce myself as a second generation watch repair person with a question about the Rolex 116334. I've recently done a full overhaul on the watch and the gentleman is looking to have the crystal replaced as well. I received a new crystal and gasket and installed it like normal. But I'm not very well versed in the new style Rolex bezels. I feel like I may be missing something because the bezel does not stay on the case at all. It's as if there's a gasket or something missing between the crystal and the bezel because it literally just falls off. I'll send some images if it will make things more helpful.

It looks like the gasket might be upside down?!? Yikes.

sadly flipping the gasket didn't help. it actually made the crystal sit looser than it was before.

Crystals come with 2 gaskets for a reason. Sometimes the person fitting the crystal will not fit the gasket onto the crystal correctly. The 'pip' on the inside of the gasket goes into the groove of the crystal. Other times the gasket distorts while pressing on the steel ring. With practice comes near perfection - and you soon build up a stock of spare gaskets. Just a point it is preferable to store the gaskets in a very dry environment - as you would your watch material!

This model requires bunch of special tools to have the crystal/bezel installed correctly

vacuum pump and 6 different dies.

And where is the crystal securing ring steel part? I cant locate that in the pictures.
