Prince oysterdate - Opinions

Hey Guys.

I have been wanting a Rolex for a while. I think for the time being, until I finish residency, a Tudor Prince Oysterdate is a better choice. I've been looking at this one here. Any advice? Look legit? Any tips appreciated.

It's an attractive watch but be careful as the values aren't very high. I don't remember if this configuration is 34mm or 36mm, so you might want to measure the case, depending on how big your wrists are for a modern look. How much is being asked?

Nice choice to get you through residency. If it's a a medical residency you might consider a bracelet in case of any errant bodily fluids you might encounter. :) Don't worry about size too much except in pricing, 2mm is meaningless except on watch forums.

After trolling ebay a bit this would seem to be a 34mm case with an ETA 2784. 500-1100 price range. I would shop for one with a fresh service or a service history and a bracelet. There seem to be plenty available

Thanks very much for the info gents. Still debating on going for something like this or a vintage 1601, 1002 or something along those lines. Decisions.

You can easily find a 1601 or 1002 in the $2000 range. eBay is going to be priced on the highest end of the market so usually not the best deals there.
