Another scammer...pt87467@gmail.com & danielhanks658@gmail.com

This is turning into a sport...Ok, scammer goes by "Prime Time", "Prime87" (pt87467@gmail.com). Claims to be in Houston, TX.

He is also using the name "Daniel Hanks" (danielhanks658@gmail.com) as the secondary account (more on that below):

Here's the wire account that the scammer is using:

Acct Name: Sandra L Weaver
Acct Number: 40XXX001
University of Nebraska Federal Credit Union 1720P Street Lincoln,NE 68508
Routing Number: 304982688
Home Address: 14703 Waldine Street Houston, Texas 77015

Most likely phished. I XXX'd out the number in the account to protect the actual owner of that account. There should be enough there for others to compare against in case they run into this scammer. He also has a picture of the person's ID (could be real or photoshopped)

I caught this scammer because I was able to find the original seller of the watch (who is a legitimate seller). The scammer used the "danielhanks658" email account to contact a original seller previous to my contact with the scammer. He obtained some info and UNWATERMARKED photos from the actual seller (sellers, YOU SHOULD ALWAYS WATERMARK YOUR PHOTOS). He then posted up a ad for the same watch on a different website using a very generic looking photo (no identifiable background, colors, etc...)

Once I contacted him, he sent lots of high res photos that he obtained from the original seller...looks legit to the buyer. I then decided to ask him for some more photos but I didn't to out him immediately with a PostIt note "proof of life" photo request as I wanted to bait him into giving me more info. So instead, I asked him for very specific photos which I knew would have be newly snapped (instead of already in his "library")

Since I had found original ad, I contacted the original seller we were able to figure out what he was doing...he basically acted as a middle man between me and the actual seller. He used his "danielhanks658" email account to contact the actual seller and just copy/pasted my email. Once the actual seller sent him the photos that I request, the scammer would then just forward them to me using his "pt87467" email.

Interestingly, the original seller also thought that this "potential buyer" (danielhanks658) was a little fishy from the start. I then coordinated with the original seller to for some more specific photos but of the wrong watch. The original seller, very smartly, sent photos of a very similar model (that any Rolex enthusiast would recognized) rather that a vastly different one.

Once I received the "wrong watch" photo, it was 100% confirmation that "pt87467" and "danielhanks658" were scam accounts....and for those "apologist" types, no, this guy wasn't going to buy from the original seller and then just resell it to me for more money to turn a quick profit. The price that I agreed to purchase at was thousands less than what the original seller had it advertised for.

These are also scam accounts that are tied to this:

nerbroski
jimmyanderson
winell212
egmwatches
Frank/frankjordan
Jack/jachol
Victor/vilens

The scammer(s) use these accounts/names to give good feedback for their other scam accounts.

Wow. Scammer playing the middleman, That's new one for me. And scary too because I probably would have fell for that considering he could probably get any picture I wanted as he would just ask the original seller. Crazy.

One thing I have noticed it seems from almost all of these scams... Notice that all of these people have a different contact name for the wires to go to. Its never them.

An investigation worthy of Sherlock Holmes. Good job!
