Opinions on Tudor Sub please!

Hello all,
I am looking at a Tudor Sub and curious to hear opinions from ppl that are more informed/knowledgeable than on these. The watch in question is a Tudor 7016/0 w/ 7.4M serial, the seller states that the watch is "all original". To my eyes, I am guessing service dial, thoughts? THANK YOU in advance for taking the time to respond to this!

I'm suspicious whether the dial is authentic at all.

I also think dial is relumed/reworked.
Service Dial? I also have doubts

Well "mine" is an opinion, and not verified by hard facts.
But if you look closely at the hands lume versus the dial lume the colour and texture is different.
And the hands look more original.

But its an opinion based on a photo
Best

Hey,
Yeah, I totally understand that your post is not fact, but I am just happy to get other informed opinions from fellow members.

On another note, I found this from another thread, posted by greekbum which looks very similar and is stated as being from a 7928.

I agree with Adam: the dial is fishy. In fact, that's not a service dial (or, at least, it was re-painted and re-lumed at some point). The silver lining is that the rest of the watch looks fine to me. Can you post a picture of the movement?

Thanks to all for responding, it is greatly appreciated. The seller said he would have to send the watch to his watch maker to get open caseback pics and so in the interest of not wasting everyone's time, I think I will just pass on this one, as much as I hoped it was just a service dial and nothing worse.
Thanks again!

Sounds like you are inexperienced with vintage watches which means that you probably should not be buying one by yourself. It is very easy to buy a fake or a watch with mixed parts. You should probably reach out to a person who is very experienced in this area to help you make a safe purchase. Otherwise...buy new!

Hey,
I'd say I have enough experience to be dangerous . Its just such a minefield with vintage. New watches (size and aesthetics) are not at all interesting to me, so that's why I posted it here rather than take a chance, this community is great. Just gotta keep reading here and educating myself I suppose, such is life.
