BTW, this thread reminds me of my earlier inquiry: Perhaps there has to be some verification for those who want to purchase watches via TRF. Sellers must be pledge members. What about making being a pledge member a requirement for viewing the for sale section? Or do not let people view the classifieds unless they have some posts on the forum.
I have not listed a single watch that did not result in some scammers asking me for more pics, prices, etc. Usually, it is the same game and the scam comes from a user who joined the forums a few days before I posted an ad.

I would never in a million years post a WTB ad anywhere anymore. Too many scams and scammers. If I ever decided to wander from my AD I would just look until I found what I was looking for. Or call all of the big sellers and tell them what I was looking for.
