Bark Incoming

A late incoming post and my first here on Vintage Section. Honestly I was never interested in Barks mainly probably because never seen a good clean example or just some other reasons.

However , the minute I saw this almost NOS safe queen , unpolished and barely worn , I knew I had to get it. 1979 single quick all factory and one of the most mesmerizing creamy dial , simple and classic. Perfectly running and shall service and maintain it well when required.

Enjoy.

Nice piece and congrats When those bark bracelets and bezels are nice and sharp they have their own look.

Super crisp and sharp piece. Looks perfect. Love the single quick day dates they have so much character.

It’s a great looking DD in Bark - if there wasn’t a service history you might want to get a pressure test and have your watchmaker peek inside for presence of lube in the cups.

Agreed , I did get the gaskets and a general look for even authentication purposes. All is fine might just need a routine service down the line.

The bark finish in the bracelet picture, just wow. I think a lot of bark DD's look kinda meh and I prefer the regular DD, but this one is (obviously) crisp as one can be.

It deserves to be added to the General Discussion thread " The official Day Date aka President Owner's thread "
