Was waiting over 4 months with my local AD for this watch... went to Vegas this last week and walked into Tourneau and joking asked the SA to take something out the safe for me. Well he returned with a TT Sea Dweller that I bought on the spot! Really kicked it off with him seeing this was my first purchase from Tourneau and he told me to send him the list of what I want... this afternoon I sent him that list and he immediately replied that he found a Bluesy hiding in the safe yesterday so needless to say it took less than 30 mins to get this watch! I highly recommend checking out their Vegas location... also they are building a 3200sqf boutique set to open fall time. Incoming Wednesday via UPS, I tried for FedEx but store policy is UPS...

Got a call (not the call though) that my AD's 16613 was ready to be tried.

I also tried something that, I am sure, people here will enjoy.

Bonus: This one seems best worn with cargo shorts and Birkenstock shoes

And the contenter. This one is "still only for demo" despite having a price hangtag.

Anyhow, I am torn. I must admit the new clasp is lovely, the ceramic shine growing on me, and the maxi dial actually quite good.

Might get the 16613 and wait for the new submariner updates.

Glad you post that shot. Very good picture to see how the watch looks like from an external viewer standpoint.
It's beautiful.

Got a Bluesy (I’m fine with the name) yesterday, it’s been a long road 2.75 years originally after an SS Sub, opened options to an SD43 or Deepsea, suddenly got offered from an AD a Skydweller, went to see it but at that price point wasn’t for me but then realised I was open to a more dressier watch, SA went away and came back with 116613LB and I was hooked, was never a huge fan of the cyclops in pictures but more than happy with it in the flesh.

Bluesy prices are pretty high now.

A friend of mine bought from a very well known dealer for $12k - actually $12.1k to be exact just end of last year but now they are like $13.5k+ for a BNIB and the larger grays are close to $15k?

https://davidsw.com/watches/rolex/submariner/

Another friend of mine is looking but was expecting $12k from David. What is going on?

I bought my 5 digit Swiss dial from a grey with no papers for under 9 after tax less than a month ago. That said, I couldn’t have been happier. It’s an outstanding piece and I love wearing it. Haven’t taken it off but a few times since I purchased.

Everything Rolex is expensive. I think it’s a virtuous circle.

I’m interested in a Ploprof from Omega, but I know the minute I buy it I lose 20-30% of my money, and it won’t be easy to sell.

If I buy a Rolex, it’s basically free because I know I can get same or more, depending of the model.

I guess I'm going to tell my friend he needs to cough up another $3k for a BNIB. LOL - hes not going to like that.

I bought my 116113LB for $9.5k brand new. Its all crazy man dunno how it can be sustained.

Kinda interested to buy it, but it's paperless and boxless.

I bought mine paperless. As long as you are positive it’s genuine and don’t plan to sell it any time soon it shouldn’t be a problem.

I bought my 16613 new in 2006. Great watch and my primary daily wear. Mine has its share of desk diving scratches and daily wear marks, but still looks great and runs fine. Its been serviced once during the 14 years Ive owned it.

What about the bluesy?

TT Bracelet is nice....but honestly it gets way too many stares and comments (mostly compliments)...but I wanted something slightly more low-key. Blue rubber B is a must imo. Some argue it’s even more noticeable than the TT bracelet. But even so, it downplays the watch and makes it more casual and cheerful

My AD just offered me one in this week. He said it’s the left over from last shipment.

That looks good. I’ve been on the fence about getting one of these rubber straps for mine as well. Have you ever seen it with black rubber? I’m thinking the black wouldn’t complement the blue and YG very well.

please see my blacky vs the bluesy. The blue is much more appealing. my heart is thinking to change or change the dial + bezel ring to blue.
