A Rolex fans from Perth, Australia
Dear all,

Recently joint the Rolex forum, want to say hi and share my Rolex experience to everyone. I am from a small city - Perth in Australia.

Have owned a 116710ln GMT Master, 16610 Submariner and a black dial 116520 Daytona.

I bought a second hand 16610 D series full set to my dad for his 65th birthday present (he bought me a Tag Heuer Aquaracer quartz when I graduated college, not a luxury watch but means a lot to me, still wearing it almost every day). Then I sold my first Rolex 116710ln (I bought it for my 30th birthday present) as needed extra funds as buying my first house in 2015, have to sold my watch to maximize the deposit. The daytona bought before then, therefore sold the gmt and kept the daytona. I was so lucky to have my daytona at local Rolex ad within two weeks in 2014.

Wish to share more if I could have my next Rolex in future (hard to get any SS sport models, but I am still hoping to get a 116610lv for my wife. I ordered it through Rolex ad half year ago, i know it may take forever to come....Not willing to pay 25% extra at non-rolex ad. Otherwise buy a Panerai pam01392 or Omega moon watch instead, i probably regret it..haha)

Thank you all. Sold the gmt, gave the sub to my dad, only daytona left and kept in the safe for its while life. Looking to buy a green hulk sub to wife for our wedding gift as she doesn't like diamond.....
