Wow not many watches make an AP look small.

I’ve been wanting a Panerai for the last few months so my dealer got this in for me to try. At 47mm it’s a very big watch but sadly I think it’s just too big, my AP feels small in comparison. Anyway the fun in choosing a new watch is always narrowing down the search to the perfect watch and finding the one.

I’d welcome any advice from the experts!

I find the ROO to be bigger despite the couple of millimeters of difference.

The photo probably isn’t great but the dial on the Panerai is what makes it look so large on the wrist.

Interesting. I've always wanted a Panerai myself but my small wrists don't lend themselves well to their bigger pieces. I am actually looking to try their new 38mm Luminor Due line.

47mm Pams are supposed to look big!

Just like skinny jeans are supposed to look skinny and joggers are supposed to be lose fitting.

Ferraris are supposed to look wide and low and SUVs are supposed to look big and tall.

Get over the size and just enjoy the 47mm on your wrist!

It always makes me happy when people "get it".

I find them equally a treat to wear. My Pam and AP are both titanium and have similar feel on the wrist. While I of course want comfort in my watches, I also want it to feel like I am wearing a watch. These two fit my personal preferences wonderfully.
