I don't believe the 1575 ever received a quick set date. Later versions got a hacking seconds hand, but I think that's all.

The quick set date was introduced. I believe, on the 3135 movement.

You're totally correct. I meant to say hacking seconds Quickset came in the later 1970s for sure. 1972 is the year that the hacking seconds became a thing with the 1570/1575 movements.

I actually like the non hacking movement, it removes the step of having to stop the seconds hand right at 12 o’clock
