Is there such a size in the Rolex Catalogue? Past or Present
Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone else wished there was something in between the 36mm Datejust and the 39mm Explorer size wise. For reference, my wrist is 7.25 in and I often find myself lusting for an in-between size while keeping the thickness to a minimum. If any of you gentlemen know of a piece that would wear somewhere between these two, please do suggest! I don’t know if any, but those two look great on your wrist

Thank you all for the kind comments and suggestions. I guess I should have been a little bit more specific in my initial post. I'm looking for more of a daily as I wear my watches thoroughly.
Sometimes when I look at the Explorer I feel like there is too much dial? And the Datejust perhaps just not enough? Sent from my Pixel 5 using Tapatalk |

Your wrist was made for a DJ 41. They’re actually closer to 39mm than 41. I’d trade the 36 for a 41.

Based on your very small size variation requirements I think you are the only one who can make this decision.
Dial diameters and bezel widths seem to be important to you and only you can evaluate the balance you like best. Both the watches pictured look good to me.

If anything they look a bit on the small side.

A 39mm 5d submariner might work and fwiw a turn o graph will feel and look larger than 36mm and there’s also older oyster quartz models.
But the ones on you now do look fine to me. |

If you have a 7.25” wrist you can easily do the 40-41mm cases

Outside of the Rolex realm, I've been looking long and hard at 3 potential alternatives but do not have any experience with these brands:
1.Blancpain 2850B Aqua Lung Leman Grande Date at 38mm. 2. Audemars Piguet 15450 at 37mm. 3. Vacheron Constantin 42042 at 37mm. Anybody own these? Please note these are not my pictures, thank you Internet. Screenshot_20220729-171151.jpgScreenshot_20220729-171401.jpgScreenshot_20220729-171447.jpg Sent from my Pixel 5 using Tapatalk |

Not a Rolex but the patek 7234 is 37.5. It’s a great watch imo

I’d stick with 36, but the 1019 Milgauss and Tudor Jumbos share the same slightly upsized case that’s about 37.5mm at the bezel.
