Mecca ... The Place & The Watch

If you don't mind me asking, does this reproduction of the Mecca have any religious purposes or is it rather a decoration?

The Kaaba, I was wondering if it was a decoration in your house or a symbol you can use to pray (forgive my ignorance, I have never seen a small Mecca like this one before).

Actually this is a piece of art made in marble, crystal & gold. It is as a decoration.
