Is this a good deal for a Nautilus 3800 (Ebay)?

Looks like a decent price..
If you like then go for it but keep in mind $1000 for service and polish.. |

pretty high price. i purchased my 3800 in early 2010 for 8500 and came with all boxes and papers. ended up getting it serviced for about $2k through patek.

I didn't see any currently on the market for $10k, but I was looking at all of the most recent sales I could find and most were in the 10-12 range. 13,800 is his asking price and he's open to offers. I'm sure that thing needs to be serviced and it doesn't come with it's presentation box from what I can tell, just its shipping box. and it doesn't have papers. all of the previous examples I saw sold included service papers, and original paperwork or packing. just because everyone is asking roughly $14k doesn't exactly designate it as it's market price.

They seem willing to negotiate. Just wondering now if I should just pay the extra 13,000 for the 5711.

$2k?? It must have had some issues as I just did a full service on my 3970P a grand complication PC and it is only $1600. Interesting....As for the watch in thread: The seller is legit but the watch is a bit pricey IMHO.

Watch was running 7 seconds fast/day. brought it to Henri Stern for a check-up. $1000 for an overhaul and $1000 for a new gold rotor. bearings in the old rotor were shot (apparently) and had to replace the whole rotor assembly. if the rotor wasn't done then Patek would not offer the 1 year guarantee.

Yikes. My 3710 Comet is going to service soon. Hoping for a routine service!
