Interestingly WatchBox is doing the same via snailmail with “huge” discounts of $500 on watches that are 1.5-2x of true value.

Many Brits (because it is British) are using the WF sale as a sign the bubble has burst. IDK enough about WF to make a claim one way or the other. But I like WF videos. The speaker has that nice RP voice...

WF have always placed themselves right at the top of the used watch market in terms of pricing; “keen” would be the charitable word and “rip-off” would be less so. They clearly over-price Rolex even versus the currently hot market.

I have no idea whether or not the arse is going to fall out of the Rolex market or not and I don’t really care as I buy my watches to wear, but Watchfinder lowering their prices from “obscene” to “a bit sporty” does not constitute evidence either way.

Which watches did you get?

The flip side to WF having high sale prices is that they also offer high buy prices, esp on the hot models, made me a few good offers.

Sale? I wonder wtf is going on in the UK. I thought our own Watchfinder was bad, but those prices are insane. $25K GBP for a 116500LN? That’s 32k USD or 42.6k CAD.

Sale is back on for black Friday. Bought myself a Speedmaster 57 for £3.5k which seems cheap. Not seeing any Rolex particularly cheap though.
