GMT Master 1675 Resource Website

Hey everyone - wanted to let you all know that I just put up a collector's resource website on all the iterations and particularities of the 1675 model. There are pages on the history, all major dial variations, and components. It's a free site and is there solely as a reference when assessing these beauties. I hope you enjoy it.

This is something that came out of the research I had done for my own collecting purposes and figured I'd share it with the "watchfam." As I mention on the site, it's an amalgam of the scholarship of many (especially springer here, who is well credited for his hard work) and help from a variety of collectors. Obviously there are points of debate on particular topics and nothing on it is meant as dogma or anything close. Would love all your help in making the site better and more robust.

gmtmaster1675.com

Also, it's my first website so be kind in regards to the layout and such :)

Awesome; thanks Andrew! I was just thinking about this yesterday. Wanting a resource about 1675 variants, dials, etc. Just to know which one my 1675 is.

Thanks!

Again thanks a ton for this Andrew!!

Will be helpful for many many people today and in 5-10-20+ years down the line.
I personally always revert back to the kind work of Beaumont Miller's www.5513mattedial.com for the 5513 subs.

Nicely done!

Congratulations on your website. I bought a 1675 from Springer last year and always enjoy looking at different variants. I've bookmarked your site for future reference material.

Very nice!

There is two versions of the Type C gilt. You can easily spot the difference as the SWISS - T<25 text is between 4 and 6 minute marks. Normally the 6 minute mark is earlier from the last PCG cases (transitional) and the 4 minute mark dials at the end 1.3-1.6m.

Great job on the website!

I have built my own reference website for another hobby of mine, so understand how much time has gone in to it. Stating the obvious, but make sure you have a good back-up system.

Excellent reference Andrew. I'd always wished that there was a sister site to the exceptional 5513mattedial.com, especially when I was doing my own research/reading while searching for a vintage GMT, and now we have it.

Thanks!

Thanks all - as several have pointed out there are still some missing iterations that need updating and this will be done over the next months. Appreciate many of you reaching out to offer up pictures of your fantastic examples and information to help the site become even more robust and thorough.

If others are help to help with pictures or further information that would be great! The more verifiable, honest watches we have, the better.

Best,
AH

Thanks again, everyone. I have updated some information and pictures on the gilt Type B page, the matte Mark 1 page, and the history page (with some great ads and ephemera from Lee).

Thanks to rolstaff and lee for some of these most recent pictures.
