I was only trying to identify the unusual dial that came with my 6610. There aren't multiple projects.
Any ideas where to look for an authentic 6610 dial?

VRF .... chrono24 ..... and dare I say it ..... eBay. Each of those sites are worth watching.

A WTB post on VRF may even yield a hit for you. It's amazing what collectors are sitting on out there.
For an idea of where values sit, a Kiwi mate of mine sold this nice gilt 6610 dial through VRF just a few months back .....

It's a good looking watch with service hands and dial with what appears to be provenance. Chasing a dial with matching gilt hands will be a long and painful process. It won't make the watch any more correct than it is now - they will still be replacements. I'd enjoy it for what it is.

The replacements are part of the watch's history and look good. If you are determined, you would have to buy another 6610 with original hands and dial, switch the parts and sell the other 6610 with these parts. Not something I'd embark on but easier than finding a 6610 and hands loose in the wild.

Dear Sirs,
Thanks for the feedback the last couple of days. Never been on a forum before however it's been very helpful. I decided to keep my Historic 6610 based on a lot of positive response. Looking forward to expanding my collection over the years.
I would love to own an original Paul Newman Daytona however with my current budget probably looking at an Evil Nina!
